2010 Training Season. We will be offering a 26 Week training program starting on Saturday January 23rd 2010 and timed to prepare you for the San Francisco Marathon and Half Marathon on July 25th 2010. Although our focus Marathon for the training season is SF, we will also have members running in several other events including: Oakland Running Festival in March, Boston Marathon in April, Big Sur Marathon in April. There will also be participants in numerous other events ranging form local 5K, 10K, 1/2 marathons for both road and trail races. For runners with a solid running base who would rather participate in a shorter training program we will also offer a 16 week program for the San Francisco Marathon and 1/2 Marathon beginning in April. Beginners, please be aware that usually half of our members each year have not previously run an endurance event so don't be intimidated...you can do it. Runners with experience, if you normally train on your own but would like to run with a group for companionship, motivation and safety then come and join us. You can follow your own training program or ours. We will have pace groups from 8 min miles all the way to walkers. For new members this will be the best $100 you can spend on yourself. 26 weeks of training, coaching and motivation for $100. Returning members are discounted to $75. Please spread the word. Registration online for the 26 week program will be active soon. Physical registration and pace group finder will be on Jan 25th.

East Bay Fit

East Bay FIT offers you a fun and motivational environment to get in the best shape of your life.

We are a running, jogging and walking training program based in the East Bay region of Danville, California. Our six month program timing is designed with the goal of training you to complete the San Francisco Marathon or Half Marathon in the summer, although some of our participants choose to take part in other events.

Ask anyone who has completed their goal of getting in shape or finishing a half or full marathon, and I'm sure they will tell you it has truly changed their life. You will feel fitter, happier, and mentally much stronger; and all in a few short weeks.

Whether you are a couch-potato, walker, casual jogger, or marathon veteran, our coaches will help you get in the best shape of your life in the most enjoyable, most inspiring, and most efficient way. If just hearing the word marathon make you shake in your shoes? That's okay, come out and join us anyway. You will have fun and meet other people just like you to exercise with and to help you accomplish your fitness goals.
